Hackers belonging to the Anonymous hacktivist group are  reportedly planning a concentrated attack on hundreds of popular Israeli Internet pages beginning on Valentine’s Day. Data security agencies have discovered that “bots” were planted in the computerized systems of a number of commercial companies, and the bots are set to become operational on February 14, effectively shutting down the Internet sites of those companies.

Although some of the “time-bombs” were neutralized, many sites are still unaware of their existence. The attack has been planned and is being executed by a group of hackers five times larger than those Israel has recently seen. Read the rest of this entry »

Something similar happens with security websites hosting malicious ads. They are supposed to be for security information. The people browsing such sites trust the content to be safe, but in actual fact because of the ad banners the resources may be anything but trustworthy. Read the rest of this entry »

“The findings are quite surprising, which revealed that the frequency of cyberbullying in India was higher than that of western nations including the US (15% of children), UK (11% of children) and France (5% of children).
